PROS: This is an excellent travel wallet that hides behind your pant pockets really well. I use it to store my passport and a couple of credit cards while traveling. It's very discrete so people will not know that you are hiding anything, though it may look like you have items in your pant pockets (which are actually behind the pockets). So far the wallet has been durable.
CONS: I wish the dongle elastic band can be longer though because my passport gets bent when I sit down. The solution to this would be to increase the length of the elastic band so that the wallet hangs lower so that my passport won't be bent.

For most travelers looking to avoid pickpockets, what you'll find at a luggage store are big things that strap either around your whole waste or around your neck. They're scratchy, ugly, uncomfortable, and don't stay put. Plus, a skilled pickpocket knows where to look for those and will make a snatch-and-grap attempt.
This little guy, in contrast, just attaches to your belt and hides discreetly and comfortably out of the way. It's made of a very soft and lightweight material that makes me forget I'm wearing it.
For best results, I recommend treating it like the vault. Carry a regular wallet too, and keep a small amount of cash in your normal wallet for buying coffee, souvenirs, or taxi rides. Then, when you need to "make a withdrawal from the vault," discreetly pull this out and do a quick exchange.

I kept a passport, cash and cards in it while travelling for 2 weeks.
Everything was snug in there, but not so much as to make it difficult to get anything, including the passport, in and out when needed at the airport.
I had my belt through both loops and kept it in a front pocket.
No wearing or tearing of the loops or zipper.
Happy with it. Will use it again.
Recommend.

I'll be honest, I just didn't want to wear a money belt during my travels to europe. I think they're stupid, albeit practical. This is a perfect alternative. It's hard to tell from the pictures, but there are two loops for hanging from your belt, one is black and other is brown (for different belt colors). For extra security, I always use both loops, since my shirt covers my belt anyway. The pocket hangs inside my pants along my hip. You can also position it to hang in front of one of your thighs, but I find this less comfortable. I use it to carry my passport, medical vaccination records, emergency cash (or excess cash, if you've just visited the ATM and don't want to have a lot of money in your standard wallet), and emergency credit cards. Basically, I only use my regular wallet for spending cash, my ATM card, and one credit card. If my wallet gets stolen I will still have identification, some cash, and at least one credit card.
So anyway, buy this if you don't like the idea of the money belt. I'm a fan of this product.

I've traveled overseas for decades, and I've never quite found a secure, comfortable, practical solution to keeping my passport safe. Wearing a neck pouch can be OK when it's cold, but if it's hot, forget it. (The pouch gets sweaty, and the bulge under a T-shirt is obvious.) Money belts slip and are impractical. But this Eagle Creek product is perfect. I'd loop it through my belt and then flip it over to rest against my thigh. It fit snugly and comfortably under pants and shorts, and even in extremely hot weather didn't present the problems of a neck pouch. I also like the size of this product. It's just big enough to fit a U.S. passport plus a few credit cards and a few bills. I also tried another product, the Shacke Hidden Travel Belt Wallet, but it was just too big (and chafed against my leg). The Eagle Creek is sturdy, lightweight and just the right size.

Perfect for keeping things hidden! I took this on a shore excursion. The goofy pic shows me wearing it and you can’t tell it is there. I don’t have a belt but attached it to a belt loop and felt my money was secure. A little long when I sat down but it is designed to hold a passport so anything that size would be (I have short legs). You do have to have a belt loop or belt, but once I got it tucked in my shirt covered the attachment. You will want to keep some cash handy though because getting the cash out it will be obvious where it is. So you can keep passport / backup $ in this and get it out somewhere discreetly when you need it.
