Hamstalk™ - Adorable Talking Hamster Toy Speak Sound Record Repeat Stuffed Plush Animal

Okay this is the most amazing thing we have ever seen! This thing is just too cute and in it's little hamster voice it repeats "everything" you say! Even when you laugh it laughs in a hamster (sounds like Alvin the chipmunk) voice! My dog was amazed and went close to sniff it and the little hamster repeated even that and literally sniffed back! this is a must, I stumbled on this by accident as I was searching for a gift. We were all in tears playing with it and we're all mature adults! lol I ordered 2 more because I wanted one for work and one for a gift but my husband told me he also wants to take one to the office! Honestly, this is the best thing ever and you need to get one or two......... or three! It's really amazing the way it repeats things and it repeats it exactly how you say it, I mean the tone, pitch and everything! Cutest cutest thing ever!!!!!

I bought this little munchkin put my granddaughter who is just now starting to put together her vocabulary. I figured it would be great for to mimic her which would cause her to talk to it more. He’s doing exactly as I thought it would. She loves it.

I personally like this little hamster. So did everyone else who was there when my youngest granddaughter opened it at Christmas. BUT!!! It scared her and she ran to the other side of the room and even now, three weeks later does not want anything to do with it. I should have waited until she is three to give it to her. I think she will like it...her parents have hidden it until then.

I was skeptical about ordering this for my 2yr old granddaughter after reading some of the reviews about how the parents liked it but the children didn't - I am so happy I decided to take the chance. When I received it, I took it out of the box and put some batteries in it immediately to try it out - I thought it was Awesome! It repeated everything I said in it's little hamster voice! So I wrapped it up and gave it to my granddaughter for her birthday. When she opened it, she liked that it was a fuzzy little creature but she didn't realize what it would do - so we (the adults) had to demonstrate - she was AMAZED! She quickly took it from us and started telling it all of her secrets and it would, dutifully, repeat them back to her - she was overjoyed and just kept on talking, it was soooo funny. She totally loved having a little buddy that could speak her language! She carried it around everywhere until we were able to sneak it from her and turn it off for a while, LOL. I am very pleased with this purchase - with one comment, a volume control would be nice (it only has one volume level). If you are 'on the fence' I definitely recommend this toy, it was great fun for all of us!

I originally purchased this as just to fun thing for our beloved dogs. Hearing them bark and then the hamster would mimic their barks quite accurately! Then my daughter and I started talking and found the hamster doing very well in returning back to us the same we said in very accurate tones as well! I got this great idea for a friend of ours who suffered a stroke. This hamster could mimic what is said back at them. It just may very well do a service to the stroke victim in helping them do better in their speech! So a purchased another for them. It certainly can't hurt to try. We think it will work for them and be fun along the way.

This is a toy that is delivered to your door for less than $15. Why would anyone think it would be a high quality audio device I do not know it's records for approximately 10 seconds and then repeats what he hears. I have a second one the record time is for 5 seconds then repeats what he hears. Sometimes that 10-second recording is a little confusing. The microphone is very sensitive in picks up background noise that can make the whole recording sound distorted. But if you're in a room alone talking to it in a slow voice if repeats word for word very clearly. So if your child speaks plainly and wants to talk to a friend that 10 second version would work well if you're looking for a quick laughs the 5 second version works better. ayeboovi made my 5 second hamster.

My grandson loves his talking hamster. He plays with it daily. My grandson has autism and this hamster is his best bud.

So cute!!! It is the perfect size for the two year old I purchased it for. It is plush and soft. I can easily understand the words it repeated back to me. My only comment would be that the screw that was to have been there to secure the battery door was missing. The battery door will still stay on regardless because it also has a latch to secure it.
