I have a whole house of 5" baseboards. I had new carpet coming and was tired of moving everything, but wanted my baseboards cleaned before and after the carpet install. This works, see my picture and I did not have to sit on the floors and slide around the rooms. Nor did I have to bend over until exhausted. There is a slight learning curve on the best angle and where to stand but it works. It also allows you to get behind furniture.

I have two different size baseboards in my home. All of mine seem to collect dust quickly! We live in a precious older home with LOTS of white molding throughout. Baseboards, crown molding, windows, doors, and chair rails... it is a lot to dust, and my three toddlers only stay interested in helping clean for a few minutes. I got the Baseboard Buddy hoping it would help me get through dusting day quickly. Now that there is a fun tool involved and not just a dusting rag, my kids want to help. I have a bit of a harder time dusting the tall original baseboards becaude they are so large, however those rooms are easy to do with the dry cleaning pad. The newer molding is much smaller and seems to collect dust very quickly. I get the cleaning pad wet with vinegar and water and use it while still damp to clean the baseboards. We have a portable fireplace in our master bath. It collects a ton of dust behind there! I thought it might be a gold idea to show my experience while tackling those nasty baseboards in my last three pictures. They are the before, during, and after cleaning. I also toss my cleaning pads in the washer and let them air dry on the countertop. Enjoy!

I have been wishing for this sort of cleaning tool for YEARS! I hate cleaning baseboards because it's just so awkward and uncomfortable to bend over or squat down to do so. My kids are now beyond the age that I can bribe them to do this hated task for me, so the Baseboard Buddy is a lifesaver. It is not super sturdy feeling like most other similar style cleaning tools - think Swiffer. I did read some bad reviews saying that it didn't work well, but I will just assume that they are from people with baseboards that have not been cleaned in a while. You know that dirt gets harder and harder to clean after it sits for a long time. I am willing to bet most people using the Baseboard Buddy for frequent cleaning will agree that this is a great tool for making an annoying chore much easier. I also used mine to dust the outside edge of my stairs. Usually I clean them from the other side by reaching through the spindles. This is quick and easy, and I am able to reach the top steps and landing without a stool and I am only 5 feet tall!

The assembly is very easy. My 9 year old daughter was able to put it together quickly on her own. I really like the rotatable head, which makes it less awkward to clean baseboards and mouldings. My daughter decided to test it out on the ceiling fan blades and was very excited to see how well it worked. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have the length of the handle adjustable. The box states it has an adjustable handle, but the only way it can be adjusted is by removing or adding the interlocking middle sections. I would prefer the ability to slide the handle into a longer or shorter position. I think it would improve the ease of use and storage, but I am just as happy about having it as I was when I received it through a promotional offer. The light weight and long extension make it more comfortable to clean the baseboards, ceiling fans, and mouldings. Over all, this is a great product.

Cleaning baseboards is not something I enjoy doing. I was excited to give this a try. I think this has some potential.. It was very easy to put together. The pole is a bit flimsy. When using it and applying moderate pressure, I did worry that it might break because it flexed so much. I found it a little difficult to use. The scrubber end pivots a lot during use and I had to stop frequently and position it back in place. I did have to apply pressure to it on some of my really dirty baseboards. It was effective in some areas without using any pressure to it - it just depended on how dirty the baseboards were. I like that it comes with additional pads and that they are reusable. So overall, I think it's okay. I would like to see some improvements made to it so it doesn't swival around when in use and possibly a stronger pole.

Works so well that my picture is almost embarrassing!!! This baseboard buddy arrived today and I couldn't wait to try it out. It was not really the baseboard cleaning that had me excited but being able to clean the trim above the doors. At 5'2" I normally have to climb on a chair or a stool to clean the top of the doorway trim. Consequently cleaning above the doors doesn't happen as often as it should. Lol. It was so easy with this duster to reach the tops of the doorways. I was also easily able to reach the cobweb/dustbunnys on the top of the vaulted ceiling that have been there way too long as well. Totally awesome product!! Oh! I also love the adjustable height telescoping handle! Highly recommended product. I did receive this item at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review of the product.

This product is decent for cleaning baseboards. Was easy to put together and fairly easy to use. I think to get better results you may want to spray with some pine sol or something. Still, this is a good product. Effective at getting dust off. I also used it fro my ceiling fans - which was pretty awesome.
